City Clerk/Treasurer

The City Clerk/Treasurer serves as a vital link between the City Council, city administration, and the residents of Roberts. This office provides administrative, clerical, financial, and record-keeping services that support the daily operations of city government while ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance with Idaho law.
April Galbraith has served as the City of Roberts Clerk/Treasurer since being appointed in October 2022.
The Clerk/Treasurer’s Office is responsible for maintaining official city records, supporting City Council meetings, managing public records requests, and assisting with municipal financial operations. The office also works closely with city staff, elected officials, and residents to help ensure efficient and effective local government services.
As with many small communities, the Clerk/Treasurer in Roberts serves in a variety of roles that extend beyond the traditional duties of the office. In addition to administrative and financial responsibilities, the position frequently supports community events, planning and zoning administration, operational coordination, and day-to-day assistance across multiple areas of city government.
Responsibilities of the Clerk/Treasurer’s Office Include:
- Preparing and posting City Council agendas and meeting packets
- Recording and maintaining official Council meeting minutes
- Managing public records requests and city records retention
- Collecting, organizing, and preserving official city documents
- Assisting residents and responding to public inquiries
- Coordinating requests to appear before the City Council
- Supporting the administration of city policies, procedures, and ordinances
- Assisting with city financial administration, utility billing, and receipting
- Maintaining licenses, permits, and other municipal records as required by law
