Watering Schedule & Conservation

To promote responsible water usage and maintain system reliability, the City of Roberts utilizes an even and odd watering schedule for outdoor watering.

Watering Restrictions
  • No watering on Sundays
  • No watering between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM
  • Avoid watering streets and sidewalks
  • Use water responsibly at all times
Lawn Care Tips
  • Lawns typically need 1 to 1.5 inches of water per week
  • Water early in the morning when evaporation is lowest
  • Avoid watering sidewalks, driveways, and streets
  • Adjust sprinklers to prevent runoff and waste

*The City’s watering schedule and time restrictions apply to all outdoor irrigation occurring within City limits during the irrigation season.

Drought or Water Supply Conditions

  • During periods of drought or water supply concerns, the City may implement additional restrictions on outdoor water use.
  • Such restrictions may include reduced watering days, limited irrigation hours, or temporary suspension of outdoor watering.
  • The City will provide notice to residents when emergency water use restrictions are in effect.
