Dog Licensing, Leash Laws, and Safety in Roberts

Recently, the City of Roberts has seen an increase in dogs running loose within city limits. We want to remind everyone that dogs at large (roaming without a leash) are prohibited within the city, and this is crucial for the safety and well-being of both pets and the community, please ensure that your dog is either on a leash or properly contained while outside.

2025 Dog Licenses Available November 18th

2025 Dog Licenses will be available for purchase starting November 18. All dogs within the city limits must be licensed. Licenses are $15 amd can be purchased at City Hall.
Planning & Zoning Hearing

A Planning and Zoning Hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers of the Roberts City Building, 647 North 2872 East, Roberts, Idaho: November 12, 2024 at 6:45 P.M. The City of Roberts has received an application for a Zone Change to the parcels described in this notice from Commercial to Residential-Mobile Home.
Drinking Water Alert
10/17/2024
Please be advised that you may experience sand in your city drinking water. Crews will be removing sand fromteh water storage tank Thursday and Friday. There may be some residual sand that may enter the system due to this activity. If you have any questions please call City Hall at 208-228-3220.

We Need Your Help!
In 2022, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) began assisting communities and water utilities in identifying and replacing lead pipes that connect drinking water services to homes and other buildings. The EPA introduced new rules called the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions. According to these rules, all water systems, including the one in the City of Roberts, are required and must prepare and maintain an inventory of their service line materials by October 16, 2024.
