Do dogs need to be on a leash in Roberts?

Dogs must be on a leash at all times when off their owner’s property. While on their owner’s property, dogs must be kept under control.

Are dogs allowed in city parks?

Dogs are not allowed in Roberts Community Park but are welcome in Mustang Park, but must remain leashed. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

What happens if my dog is picked up by the City?

Stray or loose dogs are held by the City of Roberts. Owners should contact City Hall to arrange retrieval and will be responsible for associated fees.

Are chickens allowed in Roberts?

Residents may keep up to 12 hens (no roosters).

There is an animal in my yard that isn't mine. What should I do?

Contact City Hall and file a formal complaint. If the animal is aggressive or poses a threat, call 911 and a citation may be issued. The City can assist with stray or loose animals and provide guidance for safely handling them.
