INVITATION TO BID-ROBERTS WW COLLECTION IMPROVEMENTS

Electronic sealed Bids for the construction of the Roberts WW Collection Improvements will be received by the City of Roberts/Keller Associates using QuestCDN Online Electronic Bid platform until 10:00 a.m. on November 8, 2024, Mountain Daylight Time at which time the bids will be opened, read aloud publicly via video conference, and published on QuestCDN. A link to the video conference will be emailed to all plan holders via the email provided by the Bidder when the project documents are downloaded. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

The Bid documents may be purchased electronically at www.kellerassociates.com via QuestCDN for $42 which includes the Bid fee. Click on ‘Current Projects Bidding’ which shows, in the left-hand column, all the projects bidding currently. Click on the ‘Roberts WW Collection Improvements’ hyperlink which will display information specific to the project.

Bids will be submitted electronically at www.kellerassociates.com via QuestCDN. To submit your electronic Bid, your company will need to have an online signature with QuestCDN. Instructions for submitting an electronic Bid will be provided with the Bid documents.

A pre-bid conference will be held at the Roberts City Building on October 24, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time. Representative of the Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are not required but it is recommended to attend and participate in the conference.

Project consists of replacing the existing Lift Station, 20 sewer manholes, approximately 5,570 ft of 8-inch sewer lines, 55 ft of 12-inch sewer with associated curb, gutter and asphalt repairs. The lift station includes all associated electrical work and pump installs, and installation of new storm water manhole. Total asphalt repair is approximately 7,770 square yards. It is anticipated that dewatering will be required in areas where the depth of excavation is below the water table elevation.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Keller Associates, Inc., 3153 McNeil Dr., Idaho Falls, ID 83402. All communications related to this work shall be directed to the ENGINEER (Jaden Jackson, Keller Associates, 208-542-6120, [email protected] prior to the opening of Bids.

Each Bid must be submitted in the prescribed manner and accompanied by a corporate bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Roberts in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of no less than 100% of the contract price.

Bidder is required to meet Davis-Bacon wages and American Iron and Steel requirements for this project.

Each Bidder must have a Public Works Contractors license in the State of Idaho prior to bid opening in accordance with Idaho law.

The City of Roberts reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the Bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Roberts.
