Mayor Robert (BJ) Berlin has declared April 2025 as “Fair Housing Month” and “Arbor Day” in Roberts, Idaho.
Fair Housing Month
In recognition of the 57th anniversary of the Federal Fair Housing Act, Mayor Berlin proclaimed April 2025 as "Fair Housing Month." The initiative celebrates equal access to housing for all, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, or national origin. The city will raise awareness of housing rights and promote inclusivity throughout the month.
"Equal housing opportunity is crucial for community well-being," Mayor Berlin said.
Arbor Day
Mayor Berlin also proclaimed April 25, 2025, as "Arbor Day." "Trees in our city increase property values, enhance the economic vitality of business areas, and beautify our community," Mayor Berlin said. "I urge all citizens to plant trees to gladden the hearts and promote the well-being of present and future generations."
Community Engagement
The City of Roberts encourages all residents to participate in events supporting fair housing and environmental sustainability throughout April.
