Dog Licensing, Leash Laws, and Safety in Roberts

Recently, the City of Roberts has seen an increase in dogs running loose within city limits. We want to remind everyone that dogs at large (roaming without a leash) are prohibited within the city, and this is crucial for the safety and well-being of both pets and the community, please ensure that your dog is either on a leash or properly contained while outside.
Important Reminders:
- All dogs within the city limits must be licensed. Licenses are available for purchase at City Hall.
- If your dog’s current license tag is not blue, you need to renew it. Please visit City Hall to update your dog’s license.
- Dogs must be kept on a leash or contained within a fenced yard at all times when outside.
How You Can Help:
- Keep your dog on a leash whenever outside.
- Ensure your yard is properly fenced to prevent escapes.
- Visit City Hall to purchase or renew your dog’s license.
